About Me
As a psychotherapist, I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I strive to create a warm and inviting space where you can feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings. A Short Bio
My professional career began after receiving my undergraduate and Masters Degree in Music. Following a successful career as a professional performing musician for 20 years, I elected to pursue my interests in psychology, psychotherapy and spirituality. I obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work with concentrations in psychotherapy and counseling and soon after obtained my Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD). I am a member of the faculty and the National Advisory Board at the Sophia Institute in Charleston, SC.
Currently, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of North Carolina. I specialize in working with adults and pride myself in offering a comfortable, discreet, respectful, non-judgmental, and safe environment for my clients.
I am also a spiritual teacher of New Age philosophy. There are those who come to me who are interested in knowing more about spirituality, the soul and ways of connecting with their soul. In this regard, my role is not as a Licensed Psychotherapist but more as a Spiritual Teacher and Mentor.
